Alex played at a tea party to celebrate two big birthdays. He arrived early, played beautifully and the fee was extremely reasonable. Happy to recommend.
Thank you so much for playing for us at Brockworth Court Barn for Abi&Rhys’ wedding. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and on how talented you are. The music provided the perfect atmosphere for the wedding ceremony and during the Happy Hour on the lawn. I wish you all the best and we will definitely ask you to play again for us in the future.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding! Everyone enjoyed the guitar playing in particular my mum and dad.
Thanks again!
Thank you very much for the beautiful music you played at our wedding in the church at Morchand Bishop. Martin said to me that he had a wonderful time listening to you playing while waiting for the guests to arrive and then for me to arrive. We also had friends and family who said it was so nice to hear you.
Having a classical guitarist at the church was important to me so thank you so much for making it such an enjoyable experience for everyone.
We are still away but wanted to say thank you for Tuesday. You were brilliant!
"Appassionata Duo" - Suki and Alex. Suki's flute playing is first class. As is Alex's classical guitar accompaniment.
I heard them play recently in an intimate setting in Devon and thought how well they would suit your concerts in Tavira and, perhaps, Olhao?
They are a first rate, professional duo - as you will hear from the sound files on their website.
So - I now leave you to contact them direct if you think you can place them in one of your series of concerts at Tavira or beyond in the East Algarve?
Hi Alex
We are back from our honeymoon and just wish to say THANK YOU so much! You were incredible.
Thanks again
Thanks ever so much for the truly ethereal guitar recital at Abbeyfield House on Tuesday. Such a treat to enjoy an afternoon with friends listening to your exquisite playing.
Geoff has recorded part of the afternoon and digitalised a cd for you to collect if you are ever back in the area.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for your beautiful playing at Lois and Lewis's wedding this last Friday at Dartington. All the guests thought your music made a lovely atmosphere, soothing for the smallest, calming for the groom and perfect on the brides arrival - thank you also for extending your session to cover the hold ups much appreciated. I would be really happy to write a review and I'm recommending you to friends, otherwise please quote me if helpful and thanks again.
Once again, my Wife and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude for your performance at her birthday lunch at Chagford Inn. Your contribution and beautiful playing made a lovely lunch into a magical birthday occasion. Everybody there (and the landlord and waitresses!) enjoyed it so, so much and our guests were still talking about it that evening. So, thank you.
I just wanted to thank you and Chris for your beautiful playing last night at Willow restaurant. Truth be known, you're too polished and sophisticated for background, as I, like many others there, I'm sure, would have preferred to give you my undivided attention, as the choice of music and quality of performance was sublime. But of course, the idea of eating in a restaurant affords convivial conversation, precluding active listening. I wish I didn't have a party to attend on 23 December so I could regale in your Yule Concert.
Thank you so much for your wonderful playing yesterday.
I will send you a photo of you sitting in the garden under that lovely tree when I get the pictures from the photographer. So many people commented on how much they liked your beautiful music and it created such a lovely atmosphere as the guests arrived.
Thank you again.
Wendy Batten.
Just a note to say thank you so much for your beautiful guitar at our wedding in Ashton on 4 October. Both in the church and in the garden during drinks you really made it what it was - we received SO many comments about how lovely the guitar was! Even the vicar who had originally thought we were better off going for the organ like most church weddings was very impressed and after the signing was reluctant to continue the service as he was enjoying the playing so much and asking where we had found you! And in the garden you really added to the atmosphere. So a big thank you!

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the wonderful job you did on our Wedding Day last Saturday. You were amazing and I loved the Bruno Mars rendition. A lot of people commented on how fantastic you were and it really added a little bit of something different and special to our day.
We were wondering if there was a chance we could purchase a CD of all that you played on our Wedding Day? I have had quite a few people ask for one but was unsure if that was something you could put together.
Many thanks again,
Amy and Dan Sullivan
Thank you so much for helping us to create the most romantic wedding. Your music provided the perfect atmosphere. We will remember those emotions through the music, always.
Your music added something special to the day and lots of guests have commented on how excellent your performance was.
The music you chose to play at our wedding really complimented the venue and provided an excellent backdrop to a fantastic night.
Thank you so much for the beautiful musical accompaniment you provided at Buckland-tout-Saints. One of my favourite memories of the day is of ‘the girls’ getting ready in the Bridal Suite as the gentle guitar music drifted up from the terrace – wonderfully atmospheric.
Thank you again for helping to make a very sad day into one of beauty. Sensitive music with the panoramic views made the day very tasteful. My Dad would have appreciated your playing.
A really big THANK YOU for playing for us at The Great Barn Exhibition. Your music floated through that beautiful space to the delight of everyone, moving some people to make comments in our guest book. You are certainly very talented, and we would be delighted if you would play again for us in the future.
Wedding at Courtlands. ‘Many, many thanks for sorting me out such a fine guitarist at such short notice. Alex did a fine job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to any of your clients in the future.
Thank you Alex so much for playing at my sister's funeral. Many people commented, during and afterwards, on how beautiful and sensitive your music was.

and lots of people commented on the lovely atmosphere it created. We had a

many years to come.
Dear Alex,
We just want to thank you for your part in a superb evening of classical guitar music at St Peter's Church, Shaldon on Friday night. The choice of music was excellent and the sound produced by you and Chris was deeply moving. It was Heaven on earth!! Thank you for all the practice and skill which enables you to perform at such a high level so that people like us can sit and listen and be transformed into a wonderful world of beautiful music. It was so therapeutic, that we left the building much more content and happy than when we arrived! Yours with much appreciation for your truly wonderful gift.
Good morning Alex,
I wanted to drop you a line before Rob and I went on Honeymoon to thank you again for playing so beautifully on our wedding day. We have had so many of our guests tell us how much they enjoyed your playing. I could listen to you for hours. We hope we can see and hear you play again in the future. Once again thank you so much for being part of our special day.
With all our best wishes to you
Following Vals 50th Birthday Party last weekend at Le Spa in Cirencester, I want to thank you for helping to make the evening really special and memorable. The venue is very beautiful and your music complemented the surroundings wonderfully. I would have no hesitation in recommending you.
Once again, many thanks
Dear Alex,
Just a quick note to say thank you for playing at my Mum's birthday. My Mum absolutely loved it, as it appears did all the guests judging by the amount of them who said how much they enjoyed your playing. I have directed a couple of them to your website as they have some University parties later in the year, so hopefully you will get some more gigs. Thanks again,
We really wanted to thank you for your beautiful playing at our wedding. You were the subject of much comment, and as the guitar is such a massive part of my life, we were just so delighted that you were a part of the day. Your style is so fluid and it was just lovely
Thanks very much for your lovely playing at our wedding. It was just the thing - beautiful music played very exquisitely. And thank you for taking the trouble to have us over at your place working out what pieces would work best
Louise and I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the hard work that went into the music for our wedding at Langdon Court on 16 July. We feel incredibly bad that we didn't get a chance to come and introduce ourselves and say thank you in person - literally the whole period from arriving at the venue to the meal was taken up with greeting the constant stream of guests and then photography in the garden. Of course we could hear your efforts and were appreciating your incredible music from afar. We had many positive comments from our guests and you created a beautiful atmosphere - just what we were hoping for. Thank you also for moving out into the garden once the sun came out. We won't hesitate to recommend you to our friends
Hi Alex,
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for playing at our wedding last weekend. Many people commented on how lovely your music was. I would like to wish you well and again a massive thanks.
Kindest Regards,
